This is the first piece I made in the series— just sat down with my frisket and there it was.

Proof that I was imprinted at an early age on the O’Keefe clouds print my mom kept on our living room wall. It was like automatic writing.

It is a second because it slumped a bit flat in the kiln and lost its arch. See pics below.

This is a fairly large barrette, so it might require a ponytail, or braids, or other structure to support it.

Approx 3.5 × 1.5 inches. on an 80mm barrette clip.
