MONSTERS AND HEROES

2016 was a year of grappling with dark side. How do we deal with the dark side of those we hold dear, and of the light side of those we find monstrous, and others hold dear?

I know there isn't an answer here, just a lot of feelings.

Monsters and Heroes appeared in Cheap Shots and Ugly Mugs, November, 2016.

Each work is unique and hand thrown, painted, and glazed.

You may notice a little bit of green flashing on some of the cups-- this comes from copper in the kiln atmosphere from some of the glazes of the other work being fired. I think the green halo is very fetching on Ayn.
